Executive/ Senior Executive - IT

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Executive to manage and monitor IT infrastructure, ensure system security, and provide technical support to end-users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining IT assets, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with vendors to resolve technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & System Monitoring:

• Inspect and monitor IT infrastructure as per the IT checklist, logging all relevant details.
• Manage and monitor backup systems, servers, and network devices to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and patching for servers.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Address and resolve daily user complaints related to IT systems and applications.
• Analyze, investigate, and log root causes of IT-related issues for resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, Office 365, Outlook 2013, and MS Office-related problems.
• Diagnose and fix networking devices, ensuring minimal downtime.

Asset & Inventory Management:

• Maintain IT inventory records for HTPL and other group of Companies in Ludhiana.
• Register and update asset allocation records for staff, customs, and railway officials.
• Keep track of IT equipment sent for repair, received post-repair, and installation of standby systems.
• Ensure proper documentation of IT infrastructure movements in and out of the ICD.

Vendor Coordination & Compliance:

• Liaise with vendors to resolve technical issues beyond internal resolution capabilities.
• Evaluate and test IT products to meet ongoing business needs.
• Track and monitor IT-related incidents until resolution.
• Maintain IT documentation and provide necessary data for compliance audits.

Surveillance & Security Systems:

• Ensure maximum uptime of CCTV cameras installed at ICD/CFS.
• Perform initial troubleshooting if cameras go offline and coordinate necessary fixes.

Network & Connectivity Management:

• Oversee IT infrastructure, network racks, and active components to ensure seamless connectivity.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management and technical support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, Outlook 2013, and MS Office.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting networking devices and systems.
• Experience in vendor coordination and IT asset management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
