Executive/ Senior Executive - CFS Operations

This incumbent will partner and support the CFS Operations. In addition, this role will coordinate with other departments to carry out smooth operational activities at CFS. The incumbent will perform a role of Shift-in-charge.

The areas of focus are, but not limited to,

1.Import & Export activities,

2.Yard and Gate operation,

3.Liaising with Customs as well as Port officials,

4.Co- ordination with all Shipping Lines,

5.Overall supervision of CFS vendors.

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee Import Movement & Delivery Counter activities, ensuring timely operations.
• Coordinate container movements with transporters and optimize yard space.
• Ensure proper stacking, housekeeping, and weight verification of containers.
• Manage container offloading and stacking per the SMART Yard plan.
• Ensure fast vehicle/container turnaround and efficient de-stuffing processes.
• Address customer issues and maintain a customer-friendly atmosphere.
• Ensure sufficient labor and equipment availability for smooth operations.
• Conduct weekly inventory checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare daily Equipment Control Reports and manage CFSMAG software activities.
• Implement process improvements, ensure SOP compliance, and handle other assigned tasks

Preferred Candidate Profile:

1. Education: Bachelors/ Masters degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
2. Experience: 2-4 years in CFS or logistics operations, with import/export focus.
3. Skills: Strong knowledge of container handling, yard management, and CFSMAG software.
4. Tech Skills: Proficient in MS Office; basic knowledge of logistics equipment.
5. Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
6. Problem-Solving: Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities.
