Hiring senior Associate - Internal Audit

Role & responsibilities

• Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans
• Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
• Prepare audit documentation and workpapers, document processes and walkthrough memos and prepare audit findings memorandum
• Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc.
• Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
• Conduct follow up audits to monitor managements interventions
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audits results and document process
• Prepare, implement and test Risk-Control Matrix as part of Internal Financial Controls Testing
• Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sectors rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) Reports, draft client-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and memorandums as required

Preferred candidate profile

Skills Required

• 2+ years of work experience in an internal audit environment, especially for companies in manufacturing & financial services
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, ERPs and databases
• Excellent communication & report-writing skills
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
• Knowledge of accounting entries and best practices
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound independent judgement.
