Packaging Artist (Contractual role ) | Shalina Laboratories Pvt Ltd

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Artist to join our team for a project-based role. This position requires good knowledge in packaging artwork creation, colour theory, and will involve collaboration with internal teams to meet project requirements and timelines.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Understanding of colour theory, font type and layout principles.
• Ability to prepare print-ready artwork.
• Experience with file formats such as PDF, EPS, AI, JPG, PNG, and TIFF.
• High attention to detail with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt based on feedback.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create PDF of released artwork of packaging artworks and ensure they are stored in specific folders with appropriate names (Active and Obsolete).
• Maintain artwork records in an Excel sheet for both Active and Obsolete artwork, organized by FG code.
• Work closely with the internal Art team and CQA team to meet project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.

At least 2-3 years of experience as a Packaging Artist or in a similar role.
