Inspection Engineer (Mechanical)

Location: Mumbai

FTC: 12 Month Extendable

Years of Exp: 5 to 15

Industry/ Sector: Third Party Inspection services/ EPC Projects inspection Sector/Heavy Fabrication/Pump & Valve Industry

Qualification:

B. E. in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma in Mech Engineering

-ASNT Level II LPT/MPT/RT/UT and VT

Job Description:

• Vendor Inspection
• Inspection of Static Items  like Vessels, Heat Exchanger, Columns Etc. from raw material stage to final stage, as per different codes & standards like ASME Sec-VIII.
• Inspection of Rotary Items. like Compressor, Turbines, Gear Boxes, Reciprocating Engines, Centrifugal Pumps.
• Inspection of Piping components  like Valve, Fittings, Pipes, Piping inspection for Process plant, including activities like stage-wise inspection, components inspection, Dimensional, Spool inspection at fabricators site.
• Inspection of Heavy Structural Fabrication from Raw material stage to final stage, as per different codes & standards.

Responsibilities:

• Visit to vendor locations for inspections as per allotted inspection call.
• Perform inspection as per PO requirements, QAP, Specifications, Drawings etc.
• Prepare inspection report/ Release Note as per SGS/Client format. Inspection report, inspection photographs/supporting documents are to be submitted.
• Provide Entry/Exit call to SGS Coordinator & client.
• Attend inspection meetings with client (as per requirement)
