MEP Engineer - SGS India - Mumbai & Pune

Role & responsibilities:

• To establish contractor site organization for effective supervision & quality control.
• Ensure that the contractor has a system in place to comply with the design requirement & specifications requirement.
• Regular checking and supervision of the work carried out by contractors in terms of specifications, quality standards during progress of work.
• To ensure compliance of all standard engineering practices during work execution.
• Interpreting/ Reviewing of MEPF/ architectural drawings, tender specifications, structural drawings and specifications for an ambiguity.
• To establish quality control procedures by way of check list and quality assurance plan and implementation of the same.
• Evaluate, monitor & implementation of quality control processes.
• Check and certify the material supplied by contractor, test certificates. Document related to quality to be verified.
• Preparing the work progress report on daily basis (DPR).
• Evaluating all reports for test carried outside/ inside site and at external agencies.

Preferred candidate profile

• 8+ years of experience as an MEPF engineer in handling project related to commercial buildings or High-Rise buildings.
• Qualification: B.E. (Mechanical or Electrical) or diploma with 10+ years.
• Designation: MEP Engineer.
• Skills: MEPF- QA/ QC, QAP, Billing, qty. certification.
• Candidate must have knowledge of MEPF activities, technical specifications, must be able to read CAD drawings.
• Must be able to work out and certify quantities.
• Must have good knowledge of QA/QC implementation, preparing QAP for client.
• Must have hands-on experience of other MEP works like HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing & Electrical etc.
