Role & responsibilities:

The Civil Engineer shall be Project Manager and act as PM responsible for the overall performance and administration of SGS Team. The PM will also act as the Engineer's Representative and shall be overall in charge for SGS Team for the entire work project.

The major tasks for the PM shall include but not be limited to the following:

1. Assist the Employer with the Review of the Contractors' securities, insurance and safety plans.

2. Scrutiny the Contractors' work Program, and scheme for the deployment of plant, equipment

and machinery for approval of the Client

3. Approve the working drawings prepared by the Contractor.

4. Regular supervision of works.

5. Evolve and implement quantity and quality Control procedures

6. Evolve criteria for the acceptance of works

7. Prepare and issue variation orders after the approval of the Employee

8. Assist Client in the evaluation of Contractors' claims

9. Assist in monitoring Physical and Financial Progress of the works

10. Complete monthly progress reports.

11. Strictly monitor the progress of work for timely completion of the work project

12. Verify milestone completion

13. Completion Inspections

14. Verify and Certify Contractors' Statements at completion

15. Supervise SGS project team for the compilation and verification of "As-Built" drawings

16. Prepare Work Project Completion Report of each work.

17. Liaison with the Client in all matter concerning the works

18. Time schedule and management of /team's resources; and

19. Advising the Client in all matters related to the progress of works, with particular reference to delays, possible reasons and mitigating measures.

20. Providing assistance for the regular meetings conducted by Client and to facilitate

in preparing write-ups/ PPTs/Minutes etc.

21. The PM shall be well versed with the targets and achievements of the Result

Evaluation Framework and shall apprise the hurdles/bottlenecks in meeting the targets and

suggest remedies/action to be taken.

22. Any other works related to the project given by Client. The candidate (PM) should have sound

health so as to perform his duties for the task assigned to him.

23. The PM shall be responsible for all technical presentations concerning the various facets of the construction of works and shall maintain close communication with client. PM shall be SGS Authorized Representative and shall interact with Client on behalf of SGS appointed for the services. PM shall be full-time on the job
