About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and results-oriented SEO Executive with strong e-commerce expertise, particularly in managing SEO campaigns for Shopify stores

The ideal candidate will focus on optimizing websites to improve organic search rankings and ensure optimal performance of our Shopify e-commerce platform on search engines.

Key Responsibilities



On-Page SEO:

E-commerce SEO

Optimize Shopify stores to boost organic search rankings and increase traffic.

Analyze and optimize product and category pages to improve product discoverability on search engines.

Implement schema markup, local SEO strategies, and ensure technical SEO compliance for e-commerce websites.

Conduct thorough keyword research to identify optimization opportunities.

Optimize website content, product descriptions, meta tags, headings, and images for enhanced search visibility.

Implement SEO best practices to ensure pages are SEO-friendly and aligned with the latest Google algorithms.

Technical SEO

Perform regular website audits to identify and resolve issues impacting SEO performance (e.g., broken links, redirects, duplicate content).

Collaborate with the development team to implement technical SEO fixes, ensuring website speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability.

Content Strategy

Work with the content team to create high-quality, SEO-optimized content (e.g., blogs, product descriptions).

Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.

Data Analysis And Reporting

Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc., to monitor and report on SEO performance.

Analyze organic traffic, user behavior, and sales data to adjust SEO strategies and improve KPIs (organic traffic, conversion rates, etc.).

Competitor Analysis

Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends and implement strategies to outperform competitors.

Collaboration

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, content, development) to align SEO strategies with e-commerce goals.

Requirements

Proven experience in SEO, particularly for e-commerce websites.

Strong understanding of the Shopify platform and hands-on experience with Shopify-based stores.

Familiarity with keyword research tools (Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).

Experience optimizing product pages, category pages, and creating SEO-friendly e-commerce content.

Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.

Knowledge of technical SEO elements (website speed, mobile optimization, schema markup).

Expertise in link-building and competitor analysis.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Data-driven approach to SEO strategy and performance improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing.

Familiarity with Google Ads and paid search campaigns.

Experience using Shopify apps and plugins to boost SEO performance.

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for minor technical adjustments.
