Roles and Responsibilities:
- Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads, target
identification, and classification
- Reaching out to new customers and making presentations or pitches outlining the
benefits of products/services and reaching out directly or through partners to target
prospective business deals
- Understanding the client's requirements and then customizing the product/ services
as per their needs
- Managing and handling the team, continuously following up with the team members,
and conducting team meetings to review the performances of the team members.
- Encouraging the team and motivating them to achieve the targets.
- Focused on achieving/ exceeding targets defined for self and team
- Carry out market research through industry contacts, publications, trade events, and
news to identify ideas for growth
- Filter out high-potential deals by analyzing business strategies, opportunity
requirements / pre-requisites / financials, and internal priorities
- Design the best negotiating strategies by considering the risks and rewards, and
keeping in mind the counterparties' preferences & goals
- Lead the negotiation to close the deal and draw in resources from within the
company to make it happen
- Manage all contractual requirements and align the result with the company's internal
operations and capabilities
- Constantly keep upgrading your business development techniques, and help in
enhancing the company knowledge base by participating in training and educational
initiatives
- As the face of the organization, you will also help in building the brand of the
company in the industry, vendor, and customer community which also includes
maintaining relationships with all potential and existing clients
Competencies and Skills Required:
- Communication skills are the key to Sales. Good command of the English language
and, the ability to speak fluently and write correct English are the basic requirements
for this profile.
- Should be able to communicate in the regional language of that particular location.
- Should have good leadership qualities to manage the team.
- A clear voice, fluency, and correct pronunciation along with a strong grasp of
grammar and words in the English language.
- Good interpersonal skills coupled with a thorough understanding of product, market,
and customer.
- Ability to understand client's needs and present solutions
- Should be willing to travel and be adaptiv
