Role & responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Working closely with the Indian HQ sales teams to understand the customers requirements and applications, and translate the requirements into optimum solution proposals
2. Preparation of system configurations. For multiple solutions proposal, to be able to compare the various advantages of each of the different proposals in terms of technical and economical aspects
3. Having understood the cost structures of the various countries such as India, Srilanka. Middle East and Africa, to prepare payback analysis for the customers investment in Product Inspection equipment and automatic sorting systems
4. Achieving Sales Target and Business Development quarterly and yearly basis
5. Opportunities to work with our colleagues in Germany head office as well as other subsidiaries for the confirmation and refinement of the proposals
6. Preparation of techno-commercial proposals to satisfy the customers requirements on system proposals
7. Planning the sales and Marketing strategies for the product group and regions
8. To understand the complete process flow of each of the application fields we operate in so as to provide advice and consultancy to the customers on upstream and downstream processes when required
9. Ensuring timely Payment from the customers and documentation follow up
10. Travelling in India as well as SAARC countries to attend meetings with the customers together with the regional sales team members
Preferred candidate profile
1. You must have passion and pride for both Concept selling and field sales work in the Food, Plastics, Chemicals and plastics recycling industries to help the environment
2. You enjoy meeting people and are interested in not just providing technical solutions but have appreciation for macro economic and environmental issues around you
3. You think out of the box most of the time and adapt to changes quickly and creatively
4. You are able to travel regionally and globally at short notice
5. You are sensitive to cross cultural norms and are happy working in a dynamic and cross border environment
6. You take great pride in helping others and have a deep sense of satisfaction from serving your internal and external customers
7. You can manage effortlessly in written and spoken English and Hindi as official working languages. Additional German language proficiency will give you an added edge in raising your profile
8. You accept difficulties as challenges and persevere to achieve your goals
