About the job:
Job Overview:
- We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Officer to join our team in the Personal Care FMCG sector.
- The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and customers.
- You will be responsible for driving sales growth and increasing market share for our personal care products in the designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned region.
- Market Penetration: Drive distribution and availability of the company's personal care products in retail outlets, supermarkets, and pharmacies.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Promotions and Campaigns: Implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase product visibility and sales.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and threats.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the features, benefits, and selling points of the company's personal care products.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including performance analysis, stock levels, and customer feedback.
- Inventory Management: Ensure optimal stock levels at retail outlets and prevent stockouts.
- Training & Development: Train and guide retail sales teams on the product portfolio, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Customer Service: Address customer queries and concerns effectively, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of sales experience in FMCG, preferably in personal care or beauty products.
- Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers and distributors.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and handle customer complaints or issues effectively.
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the personal care or beauty industry is an added advantage.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, MS Office, and other sales-related software tools.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being independent and self-driven.
