Engineer, SAP Basis & Security.
Role Summary.
We are looking for a skilled System Engineer, SAP Basis & Security to join our SAP Team.
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring that our SAP Business Applications remains operational and secure.
You are the main actor in SAP User maintenance, Role assignments and Transport Management.
On top of this, you also provide support on system administration to identify any issue related to SAP systems health.
Finally, you are responsible to monitor and implement technical integrations like Web Services, API, and Host-to-Host connectivity.
With a strong focus on cloud-based solutions, you will play a key role the maintenance of our SAP systems (SAP ECC and S/4 HANA).
The incumbent will efficiently manage the evolutive and corrective requests on the active reporting toolset of the company, in a lean and directive way.
Your dedication to continuous learning and improvement will be key to your success in this role.
Primary Responsibilities.
Ensure creation and maintenance of SAP User IDs and roles assignments based on approved requests.
Execute and report on Segregation of Duty (SoD) using SAP GRC tool or equivalent (S/4 IAG, One identity?).
Support the SAP Security Engineer in the creation and maintenance of SAP Roles: Design and Implementation.
Lead SAP transport meetings with various stakeholders (SAP Functional & Technical Team) to prepare and execute weekly transports to SAP Production using SAP Solution Manager.
Provide support to the SAP technical team on Transport Management.
Analyze incidents related to SAP Basis activities: Batch Job execution, IDoc processing, Interface processing, Connectivity and Performance issues?.
Monitor and support various data exchange integrations using file transfers like Host-to-Host connectivity with Banks and API or Web Services.
Implement new integrations using file transfers, SAP Application Link Enabling (ALE), SAP Process Integration (PI) or SAP BTP (SAP Integration Suite).
Ensure validity of PGP and SSH keys by monitoring their validity, and liaising with the business to ensure minimal downtime.
Monitor and support SAP PI/PO systems.
Remain up to date on the latest innovations on the market related to SAP Technologies.
Perform all other tasks in the area of expertise as required.
Work closely with other SAP functional consultants to implement and deploy role changes in SAP.
COMPETENCIES.
Good SAP Basis knowledge to be able to manage SAP Transports through SAP Solution Manager, analyze system related issues and ensure monitoring.
Good IT skills related to API/Web Services, File Transfers, SFTP, PGP Data Encryption, Host-to-Host connectivity, Certificates management, HSS Keys.
SAP Security knowledge to be able to: create and maintain SAP Roles through PFCG transaction, assign roles to Users.
Exposure to SAP PI and SAP Application Link Enabling (ALE).
Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP and SAP Fiori.
Knowledge of Open Digital Architecture (ODA).
Can integrate in an international/multi-cultural environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE.
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent, coupled with professional vocational training and qualifications.
Minimum of five yearsrelevant experience, whereof four years or more in a similar position.
Minimum five years of professional experience working SAP software (preferably SAP S/4 related and cloud) and in implementing tools in large international organizations.
Demonstrated hands-on technical skills on SAP Basis activities.
Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (Charm).
Demonstrated experience in new technologies related to SAP (S/4, Fiori, etc).
SAP S/4HANA System Administration certification or equivalent.
SAP Process Integration (PI), SAP BTP Service Integration.
SAP System Security knowledge.
Application Programming Interface (API), Web Services.
Knowledge of WinSCP and Syncovery applications.
Knowledge of Perl and JavaScript programming languages.
Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform (SCP), SAP BTP.
Microsoft Certification on Azure or equivalent.
Strong methodological knowledge (Agile Scrum preferable) and proactivity to deploy lean / agile methodologies.
Experience in deploying industry process standards such as ITIL and Cobit.
Knowledge of the specificities of the satellite industry is a plus.
Fluency in English, any other language is considered as an asset.
