Senior Software Engineer - Java/NoSQL (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java-based applications and services.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to coding best practices and standards.

- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment.

- Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and knowledge sharing.

- Contribute to the design and architecture of new software products and enhancements.

- Collaborate with architects and other senior engineers to define technical specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and other web services.

- Design and implement robust and scalable APIs for integration with other systems.

- Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.

- Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.

- Support the deployment of new products and features to production environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- 3+ years of relevant software development experience, with a focus on Java.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

- Experience with database design and development (SQL and/or NoSQL).

- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work effectively
