Deputy Manager - Motor Underwriting

Job Description:

- Analysis of client requirements in detailed and design Policy accordingly.

- Assessment the risk associated with the project.

- Preparing Policy documents like data sheet of invoices of all the Laptops covered and data sheet of all the employees for PA cove.

- Analysis Claim report , all documents related to claims

- Meeting with client and guide them regarding safety to reduce claims and ICR (Incurred Claim Ratio)

- Preparing Policy Schedule, Money Receipt, Endorsement Copies, and Policy worksheets.

- Portfolio analysis to increase the profitability and churn out non-profitable pockets

- Strategic input in Pricing of Motor products to improve profitability of the portfolio

- Monitoring of Motor Portfolio ODLR & COR

- Performance evaluation of Intermediaries

- Analyse and evaluate new developments and trends in the market to establish an overview and support in product enhancement and development including support in risk evaluating, quantifying and mitigating

- Contribute to the development, planning and execution of company strategy (including but not limited to profitability, underwriting, marketing, etc) in line with group strategy and goals

- Responsible for achieving the top line and the bottom line of the branch for Motor line of business in accordance with the prescribed guideline.

Skills & Competencies:

- Good product knowledge in all segments of Motor

- Good understanding of numbers/analytics with a sense of business/risk

- Good communication coordination skills to interact & collaborate with multiple functions

- Good presentation skills with ability to engage with seniors & making effective strategic recommendations:

Relationship building and conflict management :

- Should be proficient in MS office.

- The Job requires extreme command over computer and must have good communication and understanding on Motor Insurance Products
