Position: Manager - Finance and Accounts

Location: Nehru Place, New Delhi

Job Overview: Bhatia & Bhatia, Chartered Accountants, is seeking a skilled, experienced & execution-oriented Manager - Finance and Accounts to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the firm, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing strategic financial guidance to relative management.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance and accounting department.

- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations.

- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax authorities and other financial stakeholders.

- Advise clients on the applicability of relevant provisions and corresponding amendments. Ensure smooth and effective communication with clients.

- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and controls.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance and accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.

Technical Competencies:

- Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA preferred.

- 4+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with 2+ years in a managerial capacity.

- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving results.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.

- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.

- Proficient with MS Office & financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Tally, Zoho, etc.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior management and external stakeholders.
