Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Use mathematical concepts and techniques to solve high level math-related problems.
- Identify problems in customer-provided worksheet involving engineering math/equations and provide proper justification.
- Identify different ways to solve a critical math equation.
- Prepare a detailed report of a mathematical analysis of a critical math calculation.
Skills - Required:
- Basic Mathematics: Strong understanding of fundamental mathematical concepts.
- Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs): Knowledge of solving and analyzing ODEs.
- Partial Differential Equations (PDEs): Familiarity with PDEs and their applications.
- Laplace Transforms: Understanding of Laplace transforms and their use in solving differential equations.
- Fourier Transforms: Knowledge of Fourier transforms and their applications in signal processing.
- Bessel Functions: Familiarity with Bessel functions and their properties.
- Number Systems: Understanding of different number systems and their applications.
- Calculus of Several Variables: Proficiency in multivariable calculus.
- Matrix Algebra: Strong knowledge of matrix operations and linear algebra.
- Statistics: Understanding of statistical methods and their applications.
- Different Plots: Ability to create and interpret various types of plots and graphs.
- Vector Algebra: Knowledge of vector operations and their applications.
- Basics of 2D and 3D Geometry: Understanding of geometric concepts and their applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Other Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for mathematical software applications.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify and resolve software defects.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Analyze test results, document findings, and provide detailed reports to the development team.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software quality assurance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Skill - Nice to have:
- Basics of Programming: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, MATLAB).
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech from a reputed institute
- Master in Mathematics
- Required Experience 2+ Yrs
