Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all manufacturing plants, with direct reporting from plant heads.
- Drive production planning, supply chain management, and R&D activities, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor and manage monthly MIS reports, targets, and operational controls.
- Efficiency & Cost Management:-
- Develop and implement strategies for cost control, efficiency improvement, and bottleneck resolution.
- Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational improvement methodologies to optimize processes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and plant upgrades.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight:
- Lead budgeting and financial planning for all operational activities.
- Ensure adherence to budgets, with a focus on cost-effectiveness and ROI.
Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure compliance with Indian FDA, WHO-GMP, EU-GMP, PICS, and other global regulatory standards.
- Drive initiatives to maintain and enhance quality standards across all plants.
- Strategic Planning & Expansion:-
- Lead strategic planning for capacity expansion, capital investments, and technology upgrades.
- Oversee the execution of new projects and plant expansions.
- Leadership & Team Development:-
- Provide leadership and mentorship to plant heads and other key operational staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: B.Pharma (minimum requirement).
Experience:
- At least 15 years in operations management within the pharmaceutical industry.
Regulatory Exposure:
- Strong knowledge of Indian FDA, WHO-GMP, EU-GMP, PICS, and ROW market compliance.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other operational improvement techniques.
Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead multi-plant operations and drive strategic initiatives.
Key Competencies:
- Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Financial acumen and experience in budgeting and cost management.
- Ability to foster collaboration across departments and teams.
- Problem-solving and innovation-oriented mindset.
