What would you do?
We as part of tax team work on preparation of 1099R forms, 5498 forms, corrections to the forms, etc. Below is what we are looking for:We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will primarily focus on 1099 reporting, ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. The ideal candidate wi;; have an understanding of tax laws, decent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.The process of generating source data and performing required analysis to support direct periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) tax filings, based on the client s interpretation of statutory and tax requirements. Examples include Corporate tax, Federal tax, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit accurate 1099. 5498 forms for vendors, contractors, and other non-employee entities, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations.

Review and reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy in 1099, 5498 reporting.

Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations related to 1099, 5498 reporting and incorporate these changes into company processes and procedures.

Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to 1099, 5498 reporting.

Assist with year-end tax reporting processes, including issuing and distributing 1099 forms to recipients and filing with the appropriate tax authorities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Finance, and Legal, to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
