Job Description
- Responsible for the SFDC configurations and customizations needed to deliver the desired solution.
- Perform administration of the Salesforce.com instance including managing fields/relationships, workflow rules, approval processes, page layouts, security, validation rules, email notifications, custom buttons/links, etc.
- Develop or enhance custom objects, Visual Force pages, APEX classes, triggers and services, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- Work collaboratively across teams and/or independently to design and build solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, including Web Services APIs, Apex, and Visualforce.
- Provide guidance on solution requirements, technical design, integration architecture, and solution recommendations.
- Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, flows, flow triggers and email alerts.
- Integrate Salesforce with other platforms
- Implementations change control from development sandboxes to production and across the development lifecycle. Ensure that all necessary changes are documented, reviewed, tested, and approved before being deployed
- Log and track identified system problems and work with Salesforce team through resolution
- Implement and govern security related to profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing settings and login access policies
- Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce release upgrades.
