Senior Specialist - Finance and Compliance

Role & responsibilities

• Handle MCA filings, secretarial and compliance functions, maintain statutory registers, other records, and coordinate with consultants.
• Prepare and ensure compliance relating to requisite board meetings, general meetings, committees meetings and CSR
• Draft and vet legal agreements ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and file GST return computations, reconciliations, and filings.
• Compute TDS liabilities, ensure timely payments, and file returns, while addressing vendor and employee TDS-related queries.
• Ensure compliance with PF, labor laws, payroll taxes, and other employee related statutory obligations.
• Process vendor invoices accurately, resolve discrepancies, and perform regular account reconciliations with vendors.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely recording of banking transactions.
• Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
• Stay updated with regulations of MCA, RBI, and other governing bodies, ensuring the organization complies with all applicable laws

Preferred candidate profile

• 6 - 8 years years of relevant secretarial, legal, compliance and accounting experience required.
• Educational qualification - Company Secretary or Cost Management Accountant is preferred. MBA Finance or M. Com is desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to produce high quality work within established deadlines.
