Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced UI Developer with a strong focus on React and proven expertise in modern UI development practices. The ideal candidate will design and implement user interfaces that deliver seamless user experiences. You will be a member of the Perfecto R&D staff reporting to the Manager of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize user interfaces using React and other modern frameworks/libraries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Translate UI/UX designs into responsive and interactive web applications.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code with a focus on modern development practices.
Implement and maintain state management using tools such as Redux.
Ensure compatibility across various platforms, devices, and browsers.
Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and robustness.
Debug and resolve UI issues and implement enhancements.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices in UI/React development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or Master s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in UI development with a significant focus on React.
Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
Strong knowledge of responsive and adaptive design principles.
Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux, or equivalent.
Proficiency in RESTful APIs and integrating frontends with backend services.
Familiarity with build tools and package managers like Webpack, Babel, npm, and Yarn.
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
Solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of UI accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Experience with design tools such as Figma.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
