Senior Project Engineer

• Provide technical leadership in the design, development and implementation of site process automation and control systems.
• Co-ordinate and manage control systems projects including providing technical guidance to junior process automation engineers, maintenance technicians, manufacturing, and others.
• Support the full system lifecycle for process automation and control systems including the design, assessment, selection, commissioning, validation and implementation of systems.
• Develop User Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications, Design Specifications, administration and support procedures, and user procedures for new and existing process automation systems.
• Assist in preparation and execution of FAT, SAT, Commissioning & Validation protocols related to process automation and control systems.
• Provide technical and non-technical feedback to Validation and IT personnel for the successful qualification of systems.
• Provide technical and automation support to Manufacturing and Facilities.
• Support process automation systems by troubleshooting and diagnosing issues and working closely with manufacturing and maintenance personnel.
• Perform investigation of deviations related to automation hardware and software.
• Program PLC and HMI application for automated process equipment.
• Identify opportunities for enhancement and performance improvement of process automation systems and implement projects as required, including change control, design, commissioning, validation and hardware/software changes.

• Excellent co-ordination skills with attention to detail and ability to effectively manage projects as well as support tasks and enhancements including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong project management skills are essential with a proven track record in implementation of process automation and control systems projects.
