Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. This role is focused on international accounting functions and requires expertise in end-to-end accounting processes

You will work primarily during night shifts to coordinate with international teams across different time zones, providing support in month-end closings, variance analysis, financial reporting, and other key accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and balance sheet accounts to ensure financial data integrity.
• Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries for month-end closing, including accruals, prepaid expenses, loan entries, and expense reclassifications.
• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and month-end reports to track financial performance and meet reporting deadlines.
• Month-End Closing Support: Collaborate with clients to assist in month-end financial closings, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Variance Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify variances in revenues and expenses, providing insights for improved financial management.
• Intercompany Transactions: Handle intercompany accounting entries, ensuring accurate reconciliation and compliance with accounting standards.
• Audit Support: Respond to year-end audit queries, providing necessary details on expenses and assisting with the preparation of year-end schedules/reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting processes, helping to prepare financial projections and performance analysis.
• Team Supervision: Independently manage and supervise team accounting tasks including AP/AR processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Self-Performed Tasks: Oversee budgeting, cash management, investor accounting, and real estate portfolio financials.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, CA Inter, CA/CMA Dropouts.
• Experience: Minimum 2-7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on international accounting processes and financial reporting.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and proficiency in accounting software Advanced Excel skills can be a plus.
• Night Shift Availability: Ability to work partial or full night shifts to accommodate international time zones.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
