Job Description

  • Enterprise Markets (EM) FP&A and Strategy Senior Manager is a key finance leadership role that will work directly with leaders of EM segments and EM functions in planning, reporting, and analyzing financial and operational performance
  • The objective is to support better business decisions through elevated and relevant financial analysis
  • The position prepares Executive materials for the regional and global leadership team
  • EM FP&A and Strategy Senior Manager supporting total EM business, covering > 60 markets across 4 continents with multiple time zones.
  • Lead the development of governance for total EM including defining monthly, quarterly, annual cadence, frequency, review template, driving change manage with 7 sub clusters. Lead management reporting and business planning set up for newly established EM segment.
  • Anchor the strategic business plan (SBP), Annual business Plan (ABP) and quarterly forecasts for EM segments working with regional, market and global stakeholders.
  • Lead monthly business review process with Global and Clusters stakeholders. Track monthly progress against targets, providing timely visibility of gaps, potential deviations versus quarterly and full year projections and insightful analysis in key metrics.
  • Develop executive leadership presentations. Support scenario planning and financial analyses on a case-by-case basis as per requirements of EM / Corporate stakeholders
  • Lead all submissions to corporate including actual results, quarterly forecasts, annual plans, strategic plans, board presentations post due consolidation from clusters and reviews with EM leadership with timeliness, accuracy and quality
  • Work with Global functions, Clusters and Controllers to track progress of transformation initiatives.
  • Lead the work with Global/Regional IT/ FP&A team on designing future business planning model for EM and define the right model for each countries and clusters.
  • Work closely with global FP&A team on FP&A deliverables and with global team members on key transformation workstreams playing a dual role of evangelist of these projects and at the same time being the voice of the customer to ensure on-ground feedback is communicated and acted upon by the global teams
  • Own the overhead management process for the segment: lead preparation of annual budget, quarterly updates across EM segments; monitor overheads against plan and provide timely visibility of opportunities and risks to EM leaders.
  • Be a talent magnet. Serve as a strong talent developer by hiring, developing, retaining and promoting direct reports, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and raising the performance bar.

Essential Requirements
  • 10-12 + years of work experience with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-market FP&A role with a multi-national/global public organization.
  • Experienced senior leader with appropriate industry experience preferably in FMC.
  • Excellent financial modeling experience and skills. Strong analytical skills with ability to dive into large quantities of data and extract meaningful insights, identify trends and potential gaps.
  • Understand business dynamics and ability to connect with key partners to bring business perspective into the projections.
  • Strong talent management with experience managing remote and culturally diverse relationships.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and change management skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across business, functional and geographic boundaries.
  • Strong organizational, project management and execution skills, along with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive multiple priorities simultaneously.
