Key skills for the job
1. Reconciliation of bank and customer accounts on a regular basis.
2. Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to ensure adherence to processes and prepare status reports.
3. Manage workload of team members and ensure timely completion of projects.
4. Interact with Clients (internal and external) and understand requirements
5. Ensuring that all processes related to Reconciliation and disputes are being done on a daily basis and quality of work is maintained at all time.
6. Monitoring the Turn Around Time (TAT) and ensuring that TATs are as per SLAs
7. Escalate issues / requirements to concerned application teams and ensure quick and correct resolution.
8. Maintain and update all MIS / database on daily basis and provide the same to internal/ external clients when required.
9. Ability to make sound value propositions to meet changing business needs.
10. To maintain a healthy relationship with client Banks and associate vendors.
11. To be involved in all UATs and provide inputs /observations before the product /change is rolled out in production.
12. Be involved in internal / external Audit and ensure Audit Documents are as per Quality norms.
13. Monitor and review all process at regular intervals and report any lapse in any of the processes. Take necessary steps to stream line the process and work on process improvement.
14. Conduct quarterly team meeting in order to have exchange of ideas among team members.
15. Team Appraisals and feedbacks.
16. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to quality management.
17. Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
18. Knowledge of Bank Reconciliation.
19. Knowledge of general accounting practices and principles.
20. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
21. Excellent work ethics and research skills coupled with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
22. Good people management skills, conflict resolution skills
23. Understand development needs of sub-ordinates and address the same while maintaining high motivation levels
Qualifications and Experience
Graduate in any discipline, Post Graduate highly desired
7-10 years experience in banking / financial services industry.
