Capwise Finance - Senior Manager/AVP - Debt Capital Market (5-12 yrs)

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Managing the origination, execution, and completion of various debt capital market transactions, such as syndicated debt, structured finance, acquisition/bridge finance, and project finance.

- Responsible for business development, origination, and maintaining client relationships. Should be able to develop new ideas, innovations, and strategies to attract and win business from clients across industry sectors.

- Co-ordinating between lenders and Borrowers for all activities such as exchange of information, all pre- and post-sanction formalities, including project assessment issuance of term sheets, negotiation with various parties, and providing assistance in security creation until the loan disbursement stage.

- The role also involves debt raising / syndicationfor new and expansion projects, working capital for corporate customers, and structuring financing, and implementing structured debt transactions

- Other responsibilities would include securitization and debt refinancing deals, handling/supervising syndication, refinancing, restructuring, financial appraisal, and limited due diligence and documentation.

- Ensuring successful assignment completion within timelines and maintaining effective coordination with clients, banks, financial institutions, and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).

- Assisting clients in preparation of detailed proposals to banks/financial institutions as per their prescribed formats.

Relevant Skills and Experience:

- Robust understanding of preparing and reviewing financial statements, with the ability to analyze balance sheets and provide solutions to clients.

- A thorough analysis of financial statements for risk assessment from a lending perspective, evaluating business models and other factors for credit facilities, and preparing CMA data/projections and project reports/information memorandums.

- Maintaining excellent relationships with banks, financial institutions, and NBFCs at various levels.

- In-depth knowledge of RBI guidelines applicable to banks for loans, credit, ECB, provisioning, and resolution of stressed assets. Detailed knowledge of Debt syndication and structured finance transactions.

- Strong connect with other intermediaries and financial players in the market to be able to originate mandates.

- Excellent communication skills and negotiation ability are essential.

- Analytical thinking, communication, innovation, resilience and a strong ambition to win mandates against the competition.

Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years
