What you will do

In this vital role you will own an impactful team through the migration and integration of both SAP and non-SAP interfaces to the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Integration. You will be responsible for supervising the strategic planning, design, development, and execution of sophisticated integration solutions, ensuring detailed connectivity across on-premise and cloud environments. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of SAP Cloud integration technologies, as well as the ability to handle large-scale migration projects while aligning technical solutions with business goals.
In this leadership position, you will drive the migration of interfaces from legacy systems, ensuring compliance with SAP Clean Core principles and demonstrating the SAP Integration Suite and other BTP services. You will provide strategic direction to the integration team, collaborating with multi-functional teams, collaborators, and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.


Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the migration of interfaces from SAP and non-SAP systems to BTP Cloud Integration as part of the S/4HANA transformation, supervising all aspects of design, planning, and execution.

Be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions, ensuring they are scalable, impactful, and aligned with SAP S/4HANA architecture and standard processes.

Ensure compliance with SAP Clean Core principles, applying released APIs, in-app extensibility, and side-by-side extensions via SAP BTP for custom development.

Drive the adoption and implementation of SAP Cloud Integration technologies, including SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors to enable seamless integration.

Collaborate with SAP functional teams, business collaborators, and external vendors to define integration requirements and deliver robust, end-to-end integration solutions.

Ensure that all integration initiatives adhere to SAP standard processes, focusing on data security, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization.

Provide leadership and mentorship to the integration team, encouraging continuous learning, and promoting modern integration methodologies and tools.

Build and sustain positive relationships with senior collaborators across business units, IT, and external partners, ensuring alignment and visibility around the integration strategy and project execution.

Stay abreast of the latest SAP integration technologies and methodologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the integration team to support long-term business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree with 8 - 10 years of SAP experience OR

Bachelor’s degree with 10 - 14 years of SAP experience OR

Diploma with 14 - 18 years of SAP experience

Demonstrable experience leading large-scale SAP projects, specifically handling the migration of interfaces to SAP BTP Cloud Integration.

Expertise in SAP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, and other BTP services.

Solid grasp of SAP and non-SAP systems integration, including cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise scenarios.

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and ECC integration, using tools such as SAP PI/PO and Cloud Integration.

Solid grasp of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility options on SAP BTP, including side-by-side development.

Experience handling end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation and support.

Demonstrated leadership skills with a history of handling and developing impactful teams in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline setup, automated testing, and quality assurance for integration solutions.

Knowledge of non-SAP integration platforms, providing a comprehensive view of cross-platform integrations.

Experience working in Agile or SAFe environments for integration project management.

Understanding of cloud-native integration technologies and their role in modern enterprise architecture.
