Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Team Building
- Establish and lead a team specializing in the electronics design and development of Charger products.
- Product Development Strategy
- Create a road map for charger product technology to ensure the right product is at the right time.
- Ensure benchmarking of the competitor product for design improvements
- Creation & Validation
- Generate innovative ideas for Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) in charger product design.
- Ensure IP creation (Patent) in Charger product category
- Establish design guidelines and standards for consistent and high-quality charger product development.
- Develop the Bill of Materials (BOM) for charger products.
- Understand the complete validation process of charger at part level and vehicle level
- Support the lab team for battery pack validation
- Provide design input to CFT team at RFQ and pre RFQ stage to get right costing
