Job Title: HR Manager/ Sr HR Manager
Location: Hyderabad
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in alignment with the school's mission and goals.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, and selection.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for key roles, focusing on both active and passive candidates.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify current and future hiring needs and develop job descriptions and specifications.
- Leverage various sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.
- Conduct background checks, reference verifications, and ensure smooth pre-employment formalities.
- Optimize the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for efficient recruitment management.
- Analyse recruitment metrics and prepare regular reports to evaluate hiring effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Develop and implement employer-branding initiatives to position the school as an employer of choice.
General HR Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the school's mission, vision, and goals.
- Manage on boarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires into the school community.
- Collaborate with school leadership to establish a positive and inclusive work culture, fostering employee engagement and retention.
- Facilitate professional development opportunities by identifying training needs and coordinating workshops, seminars, and learning activities.
- Implement and oversee performance management systems to ensure employee accountability and continuous improvement.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, while adhering to school policies and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws, regulations, and CBSE guidelines, staying updated on relevant changes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files and benefits administration.
- Work closely with the finance department to manage payroll and benefits administration effectively.
Qualifications:
- Post-Graduation degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HR management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, particularly in recruitment.
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition strategies, employer branding, and hiring metrics analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale recruitment processes and drive effective hiring decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS and ATS tools, along with other relevant software applications.
- Experience working in an educational institution or similar environment is preferred.
