About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our dynamic finance team.
- In this senior-level position, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and management to support the company's growth and strategic objectives.
- You will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide insightful financial guidance, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and drive improvements in financial performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles.
- Develop detailed, accurate financial projections and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Financial Modelling: Build and maintain financial models to support decision-making for new investments, product launches, and other strategic initiatives.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed variance analysis between actual performance and forecasted results.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management to improve financial outcomes.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with various departments (e. , sales, operations, marketing) to understand business trends, align financial goals, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reporting: Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and present financial performance reports to senior leadership, highlighting key financial metrics, risks, and opportunities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards (e. , IFRS, GAAP), and internal controls.
- Manage the preparation for audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth and successful audits.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee tax reporting and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of taxes.
- Work with external tax advisors as necessary.
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management:
- Cash Flow Management: Manage the company's cash flow and liquidity to ensure there are adequate funds available for operational needs and investments.
- Working Capital Optimization: Monitor and optimize working capital, ensuring efficient management of receivables, payables, and inventory to improve cash conversion cycles.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Financial Strategy: Partner with the executive team to develop and execute the financial strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and long-term vision.
- M&A Support: Support any mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, including financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-transaction reporting.
- Investment Decisions: Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including new capital expenditures, acquisitions, or joint ventures, and provide detailed financial analysis to guide decision-making.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation within the department.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations, reporting, and analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments (e. , HR, IT, Operations) to align on financial strategies, processes, and best practices.
