Senior Executive HR

Position Overview:
The Payroll Executive ensures accurate and timely processing of employee payroll while maintaining compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role involves managing payroll systems, resolving employee inquiries, and supporting payroll-related reporting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and knowledgeable about payroll processes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Processing

• Assist in the preparation and execution of employee payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis.
• Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, overtime, commissions, bonuses, and deductions.
• Review and verify attendance, timekeeping, and leave records to process payroll accurately.

2. Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure payroll complies with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare statutory filings such as income tax, Social Security, or Provident Fund contributions, as applicable.
• Maintain payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes.

3. Employee Support

• Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Provide guidance on payroll policies, payslips, and deductions.

4. Reporting and Reconciliation

• Prepare payroll reports for management, including summaries of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and coordinate with the Finance team for accurate bookkeeping.

5. System Maintenance

• Update employee records in the payroll system, including new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
• Support the implementation and testing of payroll software upgrades or system changes.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of experience in payroll or a similar role.
