Senior Executive - HRBP

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Business Partner with legal knowledge to join our growing team in India. This role will support the organization by acting as a strategic partner to leadership and business units, providing expert advice and guidance on HR policies, employee relations, compliance, and labor laws. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in HR, with a proven ability to handle complex HR issues and legal challenges in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities:

Compliance & Legal Knowledge:

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Advise on the legal implications of HR policies and decisions, helping to mitigate legal risks.
• Collaborate with legal teams to handle employee-related legal matters such as contracts, disputes, etc.
• Stay updated on changes to employment laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

• Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for employees on all HR-related matters.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting communication.
• Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale.

Performance Management & Compensation:

• Collaborate with the business unit leaders to implement performance management processes and ensure alignment with company policies.
• Manage compensation and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Conduct salary benchmarking and provide recommendations for compensation adjustments.

Talent Development:

• Lead the implementation and execution of talent development initiatives, including training programs, career development plans, and succession planning.
• Proactively identify and address talent gaps within the business unit.

Strategic Partnering:

• Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand strategic goals, translate them into HR initiatives, and develop and implement HR solutions that align with business needs.
• Proactively identify and analyze key HR-related challenges and opportunities within the business unit.
• Develop and execute HR strategies to support talent acquisition, development, performance management, and overall employee engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in any specialization

MBA or master will be given weightage

Minimum 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and regulations.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential:

Office Work location is Chennai DLF IT park.

Willingness to travel domestically and locally as required.
