Senior Executive

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Executive to lead our Supply Chain Management efforts within the Logistics Department. In this senior role, you will oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, optimise supply chain processes, and drive improvements across key performance areas such as inventory management, transportation, cost control, and vendor relationships. Your expertise will help guide the logistics strategy for the organisation, ensuring that all supply chain functions operate efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Lead and oversee all aspects of logistics and supply chain management, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and order fulfilment. Develop and implement long-term strategies to optimise supply chain performance.
• Operational Efficiency: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes, reduce lead times, improve on-time delivery rates, and optimise resource allocation.
• Vendor & Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and key partners. Negotiate contracts and pricing, and monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Cost Management & Budgeting: Manage and optimise logistics budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to improve the overall cost-efficiency of the supply chain.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and analyze supply chain KPIs, such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment accuracy, transportation costs, and supplier performance. Provide regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending action plans.
• Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks, including disruptions, delays, or changes in regulations. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to maintain operational continuity.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all logistics activities comply with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies. Oversee the implementation of quality control processes to maintain high standards of service.
• Technological Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging logistics technologies and trends. Advocate for the adoption of new systems or tools that can enhance operational efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making.
