Senior Finance Executive OTA

Job Overview: We are an online travel company seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented OTA finance executive with a strong focus on process improvements and financial analysis to join our finance team.
In this role, you will be assisting the OTA finance team function for the Wego group of companies.

Key Responsibilities.
Conduct daily and weekly reconciliations for hotel suppliers.
Manage reconciliation and reporting processes for direct hotel properties.
Liaise with the Hotel Contracting team to review contracts and validate financial documentation.
Managing Hotel payments and statements.
Handling the Virtual Credit Card Payment and reconciliations.
Following up with stakeholders on reconciliation discrepancies.
Overseeing the reconciliation of Payment gateway (PG)/PSP transactions.
Collaborate with the Payment and Fintech Commercial team to review payment gateway commercials, address chargebacks, and resolve customer-related queries.

Providing regular reports in relation to account reconciliation status and discrepancies as well as system malfunction or/ and abnormal events.
Liaise with the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team to regularly enhance and optimize various automation processes.
Identify opportunities for process automation & optimization and contribute to the development and implementation of improved financial processes.
Managing ad hoc controlling duties or project assignments regarding data reconciliation or business performance.
Booking the supplier & PG invoices, receipt and payments into the accounting system in a timely basis.
Assisting in month-end closing accounting & preparation of audit schedules.
Perform bank reconciliations for multiple countries.
Other ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications.
4 years of working experience in a travel Industry position in accounting / finance environment.
Must have knowledge about OTA Payment Gateway and Hotel Suppliers.
Degree in Finance/ Accounting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines.
Can do approach, self-motivated, take ownership and issue management techniques.
