About the Team:
The controllership team comprises of internal team of accountants and is responsible for all aspects of the firm s accounting and financial reporting. Employees to be located in their place of posting / respective office base location. The overall team size is about 20-25 people which are handling the accounting and reporting for Swiggy. This immediate sub function will directly handle a new line of business and related process and documentation setup.
Job Responsibilities:
Creation of invoices for brand revenue based on various inputs and sharing the same with the brands.
Following up with the brands for payments and mapping the payments received based on payment advice.
Accounting the receipts and closing the open documents in the accounting software.
Assist tax team (direct as well as indirect) in finalization of revenue numbers.
Assisting in the audit (internal as well as statutory), ICFR and management testing of ICFR and due diligence with respect to BDPO (discount) revenue.
Desired Skills:
B.com background with basic knowledge of accounting.
Experience in handling AR function or accounting of any startup/new company.
Should have the ability to multitask based on task prioritization and pay attention to details.
Should be proficient in MS Excel and ERP System and have exposure in handling large volumes of data. Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
Have excellent communication skills.
