Senior Engineer - Fa ade Access

Are you an experienced fa ade access engineer, and do you want to work on interesting and challenging projects

The Ramboll Fa ade Engineering team are looking for an experienced facade access consultant to join their team and help develop the discipline whilst working on fantastic schemes at various stages of design, in the UK and abroad. Projects include new build high rise developments, commercial offices, airports, hospitals, hotels and stadiums together with modernisation projects for clients including managing agents.

To succeed in this role, you must have technical skills and experience with a detailed knowledge of applicable Standards and Regulations and a customer focus to deliver over and above client expectations. Having done analysis using tools similar to Strand7, ANSYS, Solid Works, Mepla will be an advantage. You will join our Fa ade Engineering Team

You will be part of a growing team that provides technical solutions and advice across the Ramboll business. The fa ade access discipline sits within the fa ade engineering team providing the ideal opportunity for collaboration and growth both for the individual and the discipline.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Management your own projects, sustaining accountability for project delivery, quality and profitability.
• Work with a team of specialists in the field of fa ade access, allocating resources appropriately and coordinating tasks such that all deadlines are met.
• Fa ade access and fall protection system design including preparation of design stage reports, specifications and 2D/3D modelling, calculations, and analysis.
• Participation in workshops with clients and project stakeholders
• Site inspections and diagnostic work
• Contractor technical audits, tender and due diligence reviews
• Play a key role in maintaining the high-quality fa ade access and fall protection service offering. Qualifications
