Sr. Engineer (Controls & Automation)

JOB OVERVIEW

The Position of Sr. Engineer (controls and automation) provides Equipment and Tooling Solution for Green Hydrogen Electrolyzer manufacturing industry.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Engineer will focus on the execution and development of automation projects for Green Hydrogen Electrolyzer manufacturing. This role involves hands-on work with automation technologies, including PLC programming, HMI development, and robotics programming(KUKA, FANUC). The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience and will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and tooling solutions.

Preferred Technical Skills: ( Few among below)

1. Knowledge of Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta PLC
2. Knowledge in Human Machine Interface.
3. Knowledge in E-Plan, E-cad.
4. Knowledge in Vision -Cognex, Wenglor, Sick, Omron. etc
5. Knowledge of FANUC, KUKA,UR robot programming etc
6. Knowledge in Barcode Scanner, Printer
7. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP, profinet, ethercat)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Automation Project Execution

• Develop and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes, including PLC programming, HMI development, and robot programming (KUKA, FANUC,ABB ).
• Design, configure, and program control systems for various manufacturing applications.
• Ensure integration of automation systems with existing manufacturing processes and equipment.

Tooling and Equipment Development

• Collaborate with engineering teams and cross functional team to ensure tooling solutions meet product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct testing and validation of new tooling and automation systems to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:

1. Provide technical support for troubleshooting issues related to automation systems and tooling.
2. Diagnose problems, implement corrective actions, and develop maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
