Your next roleThis role will see you technically and creatively challenged on some of the most interesting developments in India and further afield.

Undertake detailed electrical engineering building services design and calculations, using Revit and Amtech software to support your knowledge of exemplar building design and performance, as well as an appreciation of a designs embodied carbon.

Embrace technologies to improve performance and sustainability to meet to net zero targets by 2030.

Ensure projects are carried out to an excellent standard, within agreed deadlines and budget.

Represent Buro Happold at meetings with clients, other professionals, and suppliers.

Produce and review reports, presentations, models, and drawings to an excellent standard, high level of accuracy and in a timely manner.

Prepare technical specifications and schedules, design development reports and innovative design solutions.

Plan and manage input to Revit for production of design work.

Actively engage with colleagues across disciplines, in group discussions and at events and seminars.

Mentor more junior team members, potentially leading to an early line management role.

Autonomously represents Buro Happold to clients, architects and collaborators.

What design work will I be doing?Hands on design deliverables in electrical design typically in the Residential, Commercial and Hospitality sectors and leading a team of Engineers to deliver outcomes.

Preparing and reviewing detailed calculations to validate design intent.

Preparing and reviewing technical specifications and schedules and authoring design reports.

Keeping our Leadership Team informed of important and relevant service/design decisions taken on your Projects with a view to how they align with the Project Scope and Objectives.

Outside of design, what else will I do?Manage project finances, monitor scope, and ensure quality.

Plan and organise your workload to ensure that you are meeting clients expectations.

Attending client, site and external design team meetings.

A willingness to lead adoption of new analysis packages as required on your projects.

A Bachelor s degree BEng or Master s degree MEng in a relevant discipline.
