Director/ Senior Manager - Business Finance

Role & responsibilities

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Working closely with business teams to work-out the annual plans for the business

• Setting up targets for internal teams & driving them

Business partnering:

• Driving profitability by working closely with business teams, Controllership team & Tech team at center

Working with cross-functional teams and overseeing a team for timely processing of all portfolio payments including Invoice verification, Vendor Onboarding, PO/GRN Request,  Payment processing, Utility Tracker management etc.

• Driving cost optimizations/  efficiency by working closely with business teams
• Regular calls with Hub teams for driving recovery from the properties
• Active participation in WBRMs

Reporting & Governance:

• Weekly business review meetings/ P&L projections with CEO, clearly highlighting the risks, opportunities, areas to focus
• Tracking the actions agreed in Management review meetings, to ensure the execution
• Month P&L closure with Controllership team
• Regular Balance sheet reviews with Controllership team to ensure hygiene

Cash flows:

• Regular monitoring of available bank balances & working out cash-flows so that any excess balance can get invested
• Timely OBA invoicing & follow up with MM team for collections

Qualifications :  
- Qualified Chartered accountant with 6-11 years of relevant experience 

- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs, and regulatory reporting requirements.

- For Business finance Strong background of FP&A

- Strong inter personal skills for stakeholder management.

- Leadership qualities with mentoring a team size of upto 5 people.

- Experience with financial systems and accounting software. 

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively. 

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
