Acko General Insurance - Senior Manager - Business Finance (4-10 yrs)

Acko is seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner - Manager/Senior Manager for a business vertical at Acko. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, leading business analysis/ financial modelling, Financial & IRDAI reporting, and enable strategic initiatives for your business vertical.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Partnering: Lead business finance partnering with Business and other cross-functional teams eg - Underwriting for pricing, Legal/Compliance, Operations teams, Actuarial and other business stakeholders.

- Business Plan & Forecasting - Oversee Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly Planning & Forecasting processes, partnering with business teams to achieve our strategic goals.

- Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure consistent and accurate dissemination of business information.

- Spearhead business planning and validation processes for the onboarding of new partners.

- Business Analysis, Financial Modelling & Reporting

- Lead the finance operations team to ensure timely reporting of financials to the IRDAI and other compliance-related reports.

- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and conduct Monthly Business Reviews

- Perform business analysis to provide actionable insights and timely information to business partners

- Analyze key business drivers, benchmark against competitors, and provide strategic insights to management.

- Develop and present insightful presentations for the Board and Investors.

Driving Operational Efficiency & Automation

- Plan and adhere to KPIs lead action plans for the business ops (Customer Support Center, Claims Center).

- Continuously monitor leading and lagging indicators to actively support decision making in headcount planning.

- Ensure the function/ vertical is within the prescribed budget and drive ways to increase growth and profitability

- Develop dashboards for management reporting/ finance analytics, budgeting and forecasting modelling templates

- Lead the Finance automation project for the vertical, support with UAT and final execution
