As Manager - Business Finance, you'll strategise with the business team and tell us how and where to spend our money.
You'll also manage business development activities according to a financial plan. You'll modify financial plans and budget amounts based on the changes in business plans. You'll also provide financial support and advice to management in closing business deals and short/medium/long term strategies.
What you will do
- Work closely with business units and participate in their business strategy, marketing roadmap and operational execution
- Provide various business units insights from the finance side
- Jointly own the OKRs of the respective business units and build an AOP to achieve them
- Identify key risks and opportunities for the business to achieve goals
- Develop financial plans along with various business and technology teams with a 'bottom-up' approach
-Review plans vs actuals on a regular basis
-Do an in-depth analysis of variance and communicate the same to create visibility and enable the planning of actionables.
-Track and measure key financial and business metrics for respective businesses.
- Complete account-level month-end closing reviews, procedures, and corrections as needed
Direct and oversee the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of the revenue cycle activities to optimize operations.
-Do a scenario analysis and develop business plans for product enhancement or business initiatives
-Handle ad hoc requests and problem-solving with a short turnaround time.
- Supplement ad hoc requests with appropriate analysis and comments to support decision making
-Participate and drive standardization automation projects for process efficiency
-Conduct periodic meetings with direct reports.
What you will need
-Certification as a Chartered Accountant or a Master's degree in Finance
-3 to 7 years of overall experience in Finance - minimum 3 years of experience in business finance
-Strong analytical rigour and problem-solving skills
-Proficiency in MS Office
-Proven ability to form strong collaborations with stakeholders
