Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support a key client project aimed at creating a comprehensive Sales Dashboard using Power BI and Databricks. The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong background in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector and Housing Finance. The role requires expertise in gathering business requirements, creating functional specifications, and working closely with the sales and technology teams to design and implement the dashboard solution. The candidate should also have experience in wireframing using Figma and drafting BRDs and FRDs.

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand the business objectives and gather detailed requirements for the Sales Dashboard project.
  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to collect comprehensive data from stakeholders.
  • Analyze current business processes, systems, and data flow to determine the scope and impact of the dashboard.
• Documentation:
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and User Stories that outline the functional and non-functional requirements for the dashboard.
  • Create wireframes and mockups for dashboard features and layout using Figma to visualize user interfaces.
  • Ensure that the BRD/FRD is clear, detailed, and aligns with both business needs and technical feasibility.
• Power BI & Databricks Integration:
  • Understand the data architecture and work closely with data engineers and the technical team to ensure the data is properly extracted, transformed, and loaded (ETL) from Databricks to Power BI.
  • Define KPIs, metrics, and data points that need to be captured in the Sales Dashboard.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proper data visualization, interactive reporting, and automated updates within Power BI.
• Wireframing & UI/UX Design:
  • Create wireframes and UI mockups in Figma for the dashboard, focusing on usability and user experience.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers and developers to ensure that the visual elements of the dashboard align with business objectives.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the bridge between business stakeholders (sales, operations) and the technical team (data engineers, developers).
  • Present progress updates, challenges, and solutions to project stakeholders regularly.
• Testing & Validation:
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and performing test activities.
  • Ensure the solution meets the defined business requirements and is free of critical bugs.
• Project Coordination:
  • Support the project management team in defining timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to ensure the project progresses smoothly.

• Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master s degree preferred).
• Experience:
  • 6-7 years of experience in business analysis, particularly within the NBFC or Housing Finance sectors.
  • Proven experience in Power BI dashboard development and Databricks data integration.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, data modeling, and report development.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining BRD and FRD documents.
  • Familiarity with data ETL processes and integration of data from multiple sources.
• Technical Skills:
  • Power BI: Hands-on experience in designing dashboards, defining KPIs, creating reports, and managing Power BI datasets.
  • Databricks: Understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for Power BI integration.
  • Figma: Proficiency in creating wireframes, UI mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Experience in SQL and working with data models.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex business and technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
• Domain Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of the NBFC industry and Housing Finance processes, including loan origination, servicing, collections, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and the metrics that drive sales performance, especially in the financial sector.
