Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Selenium Automation Test Engineer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, framework development, and continuous integration.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and have expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java/Python, API testing, and DevOps tools to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Framework Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and related tools.

- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks.

Test Script Implementation :

- Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Java/Python/C# and Selenium.

Test Planning and Strategy :

- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define test requirements and objectives.

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Integration and Execution :

- Implement and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS DevOps, or similar tools.

- Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify issues.

API Testing :

- Automate API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI, or Karate.

Cross-Browser and Mobile Testing :

- Ensure application compatibility across browsers and devices using tools like TestNG, Appium, or Browser Stack.

Defect Management :

- Identify, log, and track bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or other tracking tools.

- Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

Performance and Security Testing :

- Conduct performance, load, and security testing.

- Work with performance and security testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, OWASP ZAP (preferred).

Collaboration & Reporting :

- Work closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure software quality and create test reports.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation testing and propose new tools or strategies.

Mentorship :

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

- Guide junior engineers, review their code, and share best practices in test automation.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in test automation with Selenium WebDriver.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.

- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks (i.e., Page Object Model, Hybrid, Data-Driven).

- Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle.

- Hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD, or TDD methodologies.

- Expertise in API automation using RestAssured, Postman, or SoapUI.

- Knowledge of version control systems (i.e., Git, Bitbucket).

- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.

- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with cloud-based testing solutions like Selenium Grid, AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs.

- Good understanding of RESTful API testing.

- Knowledge of performance and security testing.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- ISTQB Certification (or equivalent) is a plus.

- Experience with AI-based test automation tools like Testim or Mabl (nice to have).

- Working knowledge of database testing using SQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.

- Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks like Appium.

- Familiarity with Cypress automation tool.
