Sr Analyst - Renewable Energy

A. About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Senior Renewable Energy Professional to join our growing renewable team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, experience with the Solar/Wind based Lenders financed projects, proficiency in various softwares i.e. PVSyst, AutoCAD & Google Sketchup, and familiarity with designing solar PV projects & open access regulations. As a Senior Analyst, you will work closely with RE team to manage Lenders financed & Feasibility of Solar/Wind power projects, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from clients.

B. Detailed expectations from the role:

• Provide Owners Engineering services for PV Solar and Wind power projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
• Prepare and present daily and weekly progress reports for ongoing construction projects, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.
• Review and analyze electrical and civil drawings for renewable energy projects to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to design standards.
• Deliver Lenders Engineering (LE) services for PV Solar and Wind power projects, including independent assessments and technical reviews for financial institutions.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of Technical Due Diligence reports for renewable power projects to evaluate risks and validate project viability.
• Prepare tender documents and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for renewable power projects, and evaluate bid responses to ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives.
• Develop detailed Feasibility Studies and Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for solar power projects, providing in-depth analysis and recommendations.
• Provide advisory services for the development of strategic roadmaps to transition to renewable energy sources, including open access or captive power plant
• solutions.
• Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for solar power plants under construction, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and budget adherence.
• Perform comprehensive calculations of open access landed tariffs for energy procurement.
• Analyze and interpret regulatory guidelines and policies affecting open access tariffs.
• Provide detailed reports and presentations on tariff calculations and their financial impacts.
• Develop and maintain tariff models and databases for efficient tariff calculation and energy settlement analysis.

C. Required skill set

• Proven experience in project engineering and management within the renewable energy sector, specifically in PV Solar and Wind power projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and civil engineering principles related to renewable energy systems.
• Experience with technical due diligence, feasibility studies, and project reporting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

D. Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Master's degree preferred (MBA/M.Tech). Preference will be given to candidate having Electrical Engineering background.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience

E. Location

• Base location shall be New Delhi. However, the role would require the applicant to undertake travel for pursuing various opportunities.
