Job Description:
- Complete the processing of accounts payable invoices, invoice holds, analyzing aged items, vendor master data, payment processing, and audits
- Ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner
- Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries, if required
- Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports and metrics
- Reconcile vendor statements and correct discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records
- Comply with internal and external audit requests, SOX requirements, and requests from management to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Analyze accounts payable process and recommend improvements
- Train and guide junior staff in accounts payable processes
Qualification :
- "Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
- Masteru2019s degree, preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable
- Solid knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and financial processes (vendor master, invoice processing, payments, financial closure, reporting etc.)
- Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills "
