Sr. SAP APO - Planning Business Analyst

Job Summary:

SAP APO Planning Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs within a supply chain and translating them into technical specifications for the SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) system, Enterprise Inventory and Service Level Optimization (EIS), and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) System collaborating with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain optimized supply chain planning solutions to achieve efficient inventory management and production scheduling across the entire supply chainRole & responsibilities

Responsibilities:

- Hands on experience of ASAP methodology with experience in all phases of SAP Project Implementation Preparation, Business Blue print, Realization, Pre go-live, go-live and Post live support.

- Experience in analyzing SAP APO, EIS, and SAP IBP planning issues and user requirements, and propose and implement business solutions

- Experience in implementing SAP APO Capable-to-Match (CTM) and Heuristic engine for supply planning; should be able to understand business requirement, utilize Standard SAP out of box solution for CTM and fill the gap with enhancing system capabilities by use of BAPI/BADIs etc.

- Hands on experience in capacity modelling for supply planning, demand prioritization, etc.

- Experience in end to end consignment supply planning with linkages to order to cash process

- Experience in Global Available to Promise (GATP), especially in Back order processing (BOP) and integration of orders and confirmations from a planning system (SCM APO or IBP) to sales and delivery of execution system (SD module of ECC system)

- Should have good functional and technical understanding of Bills of Materials, Routings/Recipes, work centers, Production version of SAP ECC system and their role in designing planning solution coming out from SAP APO or EIS or SAP IBP System

- Hands on experience in Core interface (CIF) and Smart Data integration (SDI) design and use of available Business add-ons

- Hands on experience in Demand Planning (DP) interactive planning, planning area configuration (Info objects, info cubes, Source systems, Info packages), Planning book, Macros, Forecasting strategy, Background jobs, Mass processing, Process chain maintenance

- Hands on experience working on EIS (Enterprise inventory management) or IBP Inventory and deep understanding on mapping the supply chain and model development for multi echelon inventory optimization

- Experience in modelling IBP Demand and Order based planning

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ year of SAP APO tool experience that should include at least 6+ years in leading or Co-leading design and implementation of APO tool
• Those 6+ years in leading or co-leading APO tool, candidate should have done at least 2 greenfield APO CTM and 2 greenfield GATP design and implementation project and 1 greenfield APO Demand Planning project.
• Past role in those 6+ years should be of one where candidate has led the discussion to understand the scope, business areas, and came up with functional flow and technical architecture. Candidate is expected to highlight his or her specific contribution and role played in a project or task.
• Excellent communication skill

Desired Qualifications

• Certification in APICS or SAP is a plus
