Role & Responsibilities
Transaction:
1. Originate And Take Lead In Fund Raising (Primarily Debt) - Working closely with Business Team For Collation Of Information, Aligning Development Plan & Fund Raise, Develop Collaterals Such As Financial Model, CMA , Information Memorandum, Detailed Project Report, Structuring (if required), Negotiating Terms, Documentation, Closure & Handover To Internal Team
2. Prepare Generic / Industry, Company Specific Presentation, Pitch Books And Teasers
3. Analyse Specific Company Financial Statements, Performance, Peer Comparison and Industry Trends
4. Production Of Clear And Articulate Material Such As Teasers And Presentations Including Elements Of Research And Information Collation From Third Party Research Reports & Publications for Internal presentations
5. Design, Amend, And Update Business Models (Ranging In Complexity) For Transactions And Other Business Needs; Running Scenarios On The Models And Producing Outputs For Investment Analysis.
Asset Management:
1. Maintain & Own Asset Performance Reports - Responsible For Putting Together Board Updates And Management Reports Such As Performance Reports, Track Budget Vs. Actual Spends, Analyse Key Financial Aspects And Financial Indicators Of Business
2. Ownership Of Interaction With External Stakeholders i.e. Lenders, Credit Rating Agencies On A Regular Basis For Information Exchange, Monitoring
3. Industry Benchmarking And Identify Portfolio Performance Parameters
4. Quarterly / Yearly Reviews And Reports Of The Existing Company's Portfolio, Micro And Macro Market Reviews And Reports
5. Business Analysis, Building Ad-Hoc Financial Models For Big Data Analysis
6. Create Business Strategies and/ or finalize Board /Investor Presentation For New Product / Investment Themes
7. Annual Budgeting And Forecasting For The Portfolio Under Management - Prepare Business Plan Based On Project Life Cycle For Each Project / Entity At Group Level w.r.t Capital Allocation, Key Fund Raise Targets Etc
8. Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis For New Businesses And Opportunities To Scale Efficiencies
9. Closely Engage With Senior Execution Team To Understand Business Strategy, Outlook, Evaluate & Establish Financial Feasibility For New Projects
Key Role Requirements:
1. Financial Modelling/Complex Modelling - CRITICAL
2. Strong MS Powerpoint skills
3. Strong analytical ability and understanding of capital markets
4. Communication skills
5. Ability to work across business functions and synergize timelines
6. Problem solving & inquisitive mind
