Job Description
- Accountable for release management across multiple high profile platforms
- Ensuring milestones are tracked and risks highlighted.
- Collaborate and communicate with multiple stakeholders across the business
- Maintain awareness of infrastructure and functional changes across the estate
- Keep close oversight on release deployments, following up on actions and tasks
- Ensure adherence and enhancement to processes
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools and Continuous Integration and Development
- processes
- Initiative to get to the heart of the problem and take it effectively through to completion
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentational skills
- Conscientious and detail oriented
- Ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels
- Ability to work on their own initiative and take personal responsibility for delivery of releases
- Ability to communicate complex information to a non-technical audience
- Ability to analyse, collate and present information in coherent reports or briefings
- Ability to influence at a senior management level using in-depth professional knowledge
- Demonstrable experience of performing release management in a mission critical environment
- Experienced professional with experience in technical software engineering
- Relevant experience of software build and release tools
- Excellent technical/theoretical understanding of methods, systems and approaches relating to the SDLC
