Job Description
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Managers to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining a roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams you are partneringwith
- Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program timeline, status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
- Demonstrate intense ownership for your program, stepping in to own and resolve issues/risks before they impact the program
- Serve as a subject matter expert and single point of contact for the program. Grow into your role and be willing to learn
- Help establishes reusable processes and best practices
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- 6+ years of project or program management or related experience
- 2+ years working in the Scrum Agile process; Scrum Master or Product Manager is a plus
- Proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple teams.
- Build and maintain relationships by engaging all team members and leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives
- Ability to lead cross functional, international teams and hold everyone accountable for achieving program and team goals.
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
- Energetic, proactive, ability to learn quickly, and work well in a team environment.
- A very good understanding of IT technologies and software development cycle
- Experience working with international, distributed teams is a plus
- Experience in the automotive domain is a plus
