The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales and achieving sales targets for IT peripheral products in a designated region. This role will involve managing existing channel partners, developing new sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets within the assigned region.
Manage and grow relationships with distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
Provide product training and support to partners and clients to enhance product knowledge and usage.
Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior to refine sales strategies.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts, and provide insights on performance to the senior management.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that all sales strategies align with marketing campaigns.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product availability.
Ensure after-sales support and address any customer concerns or issues.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in sales, particularly in IT peripherals, electronics, or technology products.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively within the region.
Proficient in CRM and sales tracking software.
Preferred:
Experience in handling a sales team and multiple channel partners.
Good understanding of the regional market dynamics for IT peripherals.
